Signing Up to Attend Masses

The Archdiocese of Chicago has mandated space limits and requires pre registration for Masses for an accurate headcount as well as your contact information in the event of any health alert of a COVID-19 nature.  At this time, we are permitted to accommodate 50 parishioners and guests. Masks and six-foot social distancing are required at all times.

While our parish staff will attempt to take appropriate precautions consistent with the advice of public health authorities, parishioners and guests should understand that they assume the risk of contracting COVID-19 any time they enter a public space since such precautions do not eliminate the risk of infection.

Remember:  No one will be admitted to the Church unless they are on the list.

We Need You!

We are beginning the Archdiocesan multi-phased plan for reopening the church.  We need adults and high school students (with parental permission) to help.  Volunteers assist with social distancing requirements and cleaning the church. See the roles and responsibilities descriptions.

The Archdiocese recommends the elderly and those with an underlying health condition not perform any volunteer ministries at this time.  If you still wish to volunteer, we ask you to seriously consider the risks first.  Please contact Margie Wegrzyn at 709-2696 to volunteer or for more information.

Fill out the Notify Me form on this page to receive email or phone notifications of important developments.

decorative picture of long road aheadWe will be gathering together as a community again starting July 11/12 with 4pm Saturday and 8:30am Sunday Masses at St. Agnes (5pm Saturday and 10am Sunday Masses at St. Kieran) celebrated safely and joyfully. To assure we can follow the physical distancing and safety guidelines, we will be able to accommodate 50 people for each liturgy. Reservations for Mass will be made available on the Parish website or can be phoned in the Parish office.

And while we long to all be together once again, we lovingly encourage anyone who is elderly or with at-risk medical conditions, to not attend Mass at this time. Cardinal Cupich is continuing the suspension of obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation.

There are a number of changes as to how parishioners may come to Mass and how people should act during Mass. Enclosed is a brochure outlining things you need to know before you come to Mass.

We have set up a reservation system through the website Signup Genius. Each Monday before the weekend's Masses the system will go live and you will be able to reserve places for you and your family members. The reservation website will be listed online via You can also call the parish office before 5pm on Friday (708-709-2694) to reserve a seat. Our church bulletin is also available on our website with new information and updates.

Please come to the church (south side entrance only) at least 15 minutes before Mass begins. You will need time to check in with the greeters and the ushers will direct you to your seats. Please wear a mask at all times while inside the church and keep your distance from persons from other households.

We need adults and high school students (with parental permission) to help with these new procedures. Please contact Margie Wegrzyn at 708-709-2696 to volunteer or for more information.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we honor both our longing for the Eucharist and our responsibility to keep our members, volunteers, and clergy safe and healthy.
